I had the camera very low and wide for this shot. I tried as hard as I could to place the initial skip very close to the lens (It couldn't have been more than 2 feet away). That mixed with the slow motion, makes the skipping stone appear very large compared to what you might normally expect in a shot like this. The stone I threw was honestly about 2-2 1/2 inches round. I like the minimalist quality that this clip has, as well as the disruption that is created in the water from the stone.
